LeAnna practiced as a nurse for 18 years before choosing to leave the medical system and transition into focusing on holistic wellness as a trauma-attuned consultant, coach, and certified breath work practitioner. Her time as nursing faculty at Indiana University South Bend, teaching students on the orthopedic/neurological trauma floor, almost a decade as a forensic nurse- particularly during Covid- along with personal experiences, allowed her the opportunity to develop a profound, experiential understanding of physical, mental and emotional trauma, and the subsequent journey necessary for nervous system regulation and trauma healing. Now LeAnna leverages this rich background and unique perspective to empower others through education, evidence based holistic interventions, and compassionate support, in pursuit of her goal of fostering human wholeness and well-being, individually and collectively. She spends her free time chasing live music with her husband, traveling, hiking, camping, swimming, and hanging out with her favorite people- and animals- as often as possible.
