LeAnna Alwine
MSN-Ed, CTBP
LeAnna practiced as a nurse for 18 years before transitioning from clinical care into her current work as a consultant focused on stress, burnout, and nervous system regulation. Her background includes nearly a decade as a forensic nurse, along with experience in nursing education at Indiana University South Bend, where she taught students on an orthopedic and neurological trauma unit. Much of this work took place in high-acuity, high-stress environments, including during the COVID-19 pandemic—providing a strong foundation for understanding how prolonged stress impacts both individuals and the systems they work within.
She now supports individuals and teams through education, practical skill-building, and evidence-informed approaches that focus on stress regulation, resilience, and sustainable functioning in demanding environments. Her work reflects both clinical experience and lived insight into the realities of stress and recovery. This approach is grounded in a trauma-informed perspective and integrates structured breathwork, somatic awareness, and applied nervous system regulation tools. Outside of her professional work, LeAnna enjoys live music, travel, hiking, camping, swimming, and spending time with her favorite people—and animals—whenever possible.
