LeAnna Alwine

LeAnna Alwine MSN-Ed practiced as a nurse for 18 years before choosing to leave the medical system and transition into focusing on holistic wellness as a trauma-informed wellness consultant, coach, and breathwork practitioner. Her time as nursing faculty at Indiana University South Bend, teaching students on the orthopedic/neurological trauma floor and as a forensic nurse, particularly during Covid, along with a few- or maybe several- personal experiences along the way, allowed her the opportunity to develop a profound, experiential understanding of physical, mental and emotional trauma, and the subsequent journey necessary for nervous system regulation and trauma healing. Now LeAnna leverages this rich background and unique perspective to empower others through education, evidence based holistic interventions, and compassionate support, in pursuit of her goal of fostering human well-being, individually and collectively. She enjoys her free time chasing live music with her husband, watching her newly adult children find their niche in the world, hiking, camping, swimming, traveling, and hanging out with her favorite people- and animals- as often as possible.
